I know how POWERFUL it is to manifest your dreams, but I also know that the manifestation of a successful art business requires BUSINESS ACUMEN and ACTION.
So while we will ABSOLUTELY be diving into all things manifestation, intentionality and belief systems, that's not all of it, not by one little bit!
During my path to being a RICH ARTIST I've studied online business from MANY different angles. I've had coaches, business mentors, done business trainings, sales trainings, manifestation trainings, and everything in between.
I've poured my heart and soul into learning how to do business, because I DON'T BUY INTO THE STORY THAT ARTISTS HAVE TO BE POOR. I just dont. Will not. Can't.
I won't have it for me, and I certainly won't have it for you.
Let me backtrack a bit, and tell you a little story...
I used to be a starving artist, with a horrifically fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants lifestyle, earning ~$150 a week off my creations at markets every weekend.
It was tough as fhuuuu!
With my pockets jangling with my little money from the market, I’d go straight to the shop get my food for the week.
During the week I’d make my wacky psychedelic clay jewellery inside my bus motorhome, and every weekend I’d set up my freaking gazebo ALONE (anyone who has done this knows it’s a mean feat, ha!!) and sit in the sun at some northern rivers market all day. A few people would buy things, which made me OVERJOYED.
And then it would be a new week and I’d continue that cycle!
Now, I know that’s a rite of passage that many artists and creators go through, and it serves its purpose.
For me that purpose is basically so I can look back at that time and think “thank sweet mo’fuckin GOD I’m not there any more.”
It ALSO, and this is a big one actually, taught me that I will ALWAYS be looked after. I ALWAYS had enough, and when I didn’t, I would - by some complete coincidence - be staying with people who were cooking for me!
But gad, damn. I am SO glad I’m out of that phase.
I couldn’t be further from that place now. It took a lot of work, a lot of shifting my mindset, a lot of learning about marketing, sales, energetics, money management - tackling it from ALL THE ANGLES.
Taking a really, really good look at what I was creating, and choosing something different.
That was 5 years ago.
Needless to say, I’ve come LEAPS AND BOUNDS in the last 4 years. 2 months ago I created 27k. A few months before that I created 12.5k.
One of the HUGE pieces for me has been teaching - teaching what I know in MANY realms.
Sometimes I teach about painting, sometimes I teach about making online courses, sometimes I teach about instagram.
Sometimes I teach online (mostly at the moment), and sometimes I teach in person.
But something I’ve ⭐️NEVER⭐️ taught about, is how I got from that girl I was talking about before, the struggling girl 5 years ago, to the thriving artist I am today.
And it’s time.
I finally feel like I’ve amassed enough learnings under my belt, and have created enough abundance and fulfilment for myself, that I can teach about it.
Truth be told, I’ve been waiting for this moment for a LONG time.
But it’s never felt right, never felt in integrity, because I wasn’t *there* yet….
But this morning on my walk I got the nudge from my intuition - “now’s the time”.
