Hey! It’s Steph - Founder of The Inspired Artist Academy.
The inspiration for this online school came from my downright terrible experience at traditional art school.
It was stuffy, clinical and to be quite honest, the antithesis of creativity. All time was spent jumping through administrative hoops and having the creativity stomped out of me through BRUTAL critique. All I wanted to do was hide, and so I quit within a year and decided to run painting courses myself.
Painting courses that NURTURED creativity rather than squashed it down. I wanted to teach art in a way that was fun, satisfying and informative, that left students glowing with accomplishment.
And soon, one thing led to another and The Inspired Artist Academy was born, a whole online school and growing creative community!
